What PDF → Sheets does

Attach a PDF. Get every table in source order with cleaned headers, ISO dates, plain decimals, a preview, and a totals check. Multi-page tables are stitched.

Detects tables in source order.
Stitches multi-page tables and removes repeated headers.
Normalizes dates and amounts; shows a preview and totals check.
Exports Excel or CSV (or chat CSV fallback).

Scanned PDFs: without a text layer, the skills-only version reports that OCR isn't available rather than guessing.

How to use it

Install from the ChatGPT Plugin Directory (link after approval), then try:

Convert this PDF to Excel
Extract the tables from this PDF as CSV
Turn this bank statement PDF into a spreadsheet

Limitations

Skills-only version: text PDFs OK; scanned PDFs without a text layer are reported, not OCR'd.
Unreadable cells left empty and flagged.
Downloadable file only where ChatGPT can run code.
Does not edit/merge PDFs, convert to Word, or give tax/accounting advice.
Public Directory listing is planned only with the hosted MCP server — do not submit skills-only.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Try
No tables found	Confirm the PDF has a text layer; scans need the future MCP/OCR path.
Wrong columns	Ask to re-detect with a bank-statement or invoice-lines preset.
No Excel file	Ask for CSV, or wait for the hosted MCP export links.
