What BillFast does

Paste notes, hours, or a timesheet into ChatGPT. BillFast turns them into a clean, tax-ready invoice — exact totals, VAT per rate, English or German.

Reads your notes and proposes line items.
Asks for anything missing (rates, tax rate, invoice number, addresses, bank details) in one checklist.
Shows a draft table for you to confirm.
Calculates net, VAT per rate, discounts, and total to the cent.
Renders the invoice in English or German.

It never invents amounts, hours, tax rates, invoice numbers, VAT IDs, IBANs, or addresses. Missing fields stay as visible placeholders like [IBAN] and the invoice is marked DRAFT.

How to use it

Install from the ChatGPT Plugin Directory (link after approval), then try:

Create an invoice from these notes
Turn this timesheet into an invoice with 19% VAT
Generate an invoice PDF for this client
Rechnung auf Deutsch mit 19 % MwSt

Limitations

PDF file only where ChatGPT can run code; otherwise print-ready invoice in chat.
No memory across chats — client defaults aren't saved between conversations.
Does not send invoices, take payments, or connect to accounting/banking tools.
Human-readable invoice, not XRechnung/ZUGFeRD e-invoice.
Not tax advice — does not choose your VAT rate or tax status.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Try
No PDF appeared	Ask “render it as a PDF file”. If code execution isn't available, use the print-ready version.
Totals look wrong	Ask “show the math”. BillFast rounds per line, then tax per rate group.
Keeps asking questions	Deliberate for required fields. Say “make it a DRAFT with placeholders” to proceed.
Didn't activate	Mention BillFast directly or start with “Create an invoice from…”.
